This photo from 2001 shows John M. Drew holding the very old and very venerable baptism and marriage registry of St. Philomena's church.  He poses here with the Pastor, Fr. Kleinweber prior to searching the records for Drew family entries.  As expected according to tradition and research, the only record found was the baptism of Richard Francis Drew, the youngest child of James H. and Blanche Drew.  The six older children were all born and baptized in Indianapolis prior to the family moving to Cleveland in 1919.

Above is a photo of the priest's entry of Richard F. Drew's baptism on March 27, 1920... giving also his date of birth, March 8, 1920.  The sponsors (Godparents) are listed as Terrence Scullen and Eva Agnes Smith Scullen.  The priest who signed the entry was Jas (James) OR Jos (Joseph) Smith.  Note that in 1948, information regarding Richard F. Drew's marriage in Indianapolis to Delores Topmiller was exchanged between the two pastors and was recorded in the registry at St. Philomena's.

Above is a very high resolution photo of the same baptism and marriage entries for Richard F. Drew.  Such a photo will be interesting to scholars of penmanship & scipophiliacs if any ever appear in the family.
